I am looking for something online that shows traditional characters in pen-script...possibly their
stroke order. But more importantly having it written in pen script. I am thinking probably a
chinese site has reprinted an older book on-line. I have searched a little bit, but I am still not
that comfortable googling in chinese. I am thinking there must be some book reprinted online that
is essentially a pen-calligraphy book for traditional characters. ?
I don't write traditional characters very often.... some times a particularly complex character
will be challenging for me to get the proportions right. The stroke order is not so much a
problem. I would just like to see a nice picture of a character written.
btw... I have looked at that university site in america (sorry can't remember the name now, i
think it is a californian university) they have a stroke order animations of some traditional
characters. But their set is relatively small and is more for beginners learning their first
chinese characters.

This is not animated but it does show the order of all strokes of each character and I think it is
helpful -> 常用國字標準字體筆順手冊
Use it as you would a paper dictionary of traditional characters, i.e. first check radical then
number of strokes.
For example, this shows clearly that we should write the upper middle part of 學 first ->

thanks a lot Skylee... this is really helpful.
I encountered a little font problem.... on the radical index page... a few of the radicals are not
displayed and instead there is a question mark. I fiddled around with the language settings on
firefox, to no avail. Have you encountered this? I assume it has something to do with my font
settings, and it is not the website displaying those question marks.

I know nothing about browers and fonts. I use IE and only four radicals are not displayed properly
(no question marks, though, just blanks). (I am very used to these things ha ha )
